Perawatan pada Pasien dengan Post Op Closed Fracture of the Right Tibial Plateau di Rumah Sakit Banda Aceh

Abstract
Closed tibial plateau fractures occurs in the upper part of the shinbone, just below the knee, affecting the knee joint and resulting in impaired of body aligment, movement, and instability of the knee joint due to trauma or an accident. The aim of this case study is to provide nursing care for Mrs. D, who has a postoperative closed fracture of the right tibial plateau. The assessment revealed that the patient appeared to grimace and complained of postoperative pain, had difficulty moving her leg, had not had a bowel movement since admission, and the wound dressing appeared dirty with ongoing bleeding. The nursing problems identified were acute pain, impaired physical mobility, constipation, impaired skin integrity, and risk of infection. Interventions provided included applying cold compresses, teaching deep breathing relaxation techniques, using distraction techniques with Murrotal (Quran recitation), assisting with range of motion (ROM) exercises, performing abdominal massage, providing wound care, offering nutritional education, and collaborating on medication administration. The nursing evaluation showed that constipation, was resolved, while the other four issues acute pain, impaired physical mobility, impaired skin integrity, and risk of infection were partially addressed.
