Asuhan Keperawatan pada Pasien dengan Chronic Kidney Desease

Abstract
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a medical condition characterized by the gradual decline in kidney function. Optimal management of patients with CKD is crucial to improving quality of life and preventing further complications. This paper aims to provide nursing care for Mrs. H, who has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. Based on the assessment results, it was found that the patient had a urea level of 161 mg/dL, creatinine level of 13.65 mg/dL, along with complaints of oliguria, edema, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. The interventions provided include education about fluid intake restriction to prevent fluid retention, as well as slow deep breathing therapy to help reduce anxiety and improve relaxation. Additionally, the patient was taught about dietary management, with advice to eat small, frequent meals to maintain nutritional balance and reduce kidney load. An additional therapy, back massage, was also taught to help relieve muscle tension and enhance patient comfort. As part of the collaborative intervention, medication administration according to medical indications was carried out to control symptoms and slow down the progression of kidney disease. With the implementation of this nursing care, it is hoped that the patient's condition will improve, and her quality of life will be better maintained.
