Main Article Content
Abstract
Mental health is currently still a public health problem both in Indonesia and internationally so that it is one of the goals of sustainable health development. Therefore, there needs to be a way to maintain emotional balance so that a person's mental health and quality of life can be well maintained. One of the methods recommended by researchers is self-healing by applying hadith about gratitude in daily life. Researchers use qualitative research methods as well as library research in collecting and processing data and providing approaches to interpret hadith in daily life. From this study, it is concluded that the Hadith narrated by Imam Muslim No. 5318 shows that gratitude and patience are the main keys to changing every situation into goodness, in a modern perspective this concept is very relevant to support psychological well-being and the process of self-healing. The hadith narrated by Imam At-Tirmidhi emphasizes that gratitude to humans is a reflection of gratitude to Allah. Therefore, in the context of self-healing, gratitude has an important role in creating emotional balance and strengthening social relationships.
