Abstract

This study aims to identify & analyze various innovations in the evaluation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, as well as the approaches, methods, & challenges faced in its implementation. With the rapid development of technology & the dynamics of education, innovation in learning evaluation has become crucial to ensure the effectiveness & relevance of the PAI learning process. Evaluations that encompass cognitive, affective, & psychomotor dimensions are considered essential in measuring students' underst&ing, attitudes, & skills, thus enabling a more holistic evaluation of students' development. The use of technology in evaluations, such as Google Forms, Kahoot, & Quizizz, has proven to increase student engagement & streamline the assessment process, making it faster & more accurate. This study also identifies several challenges, such as limited resources available in schools & a limited underst&ing of evaluations based on holistic dimensions that incorporate both academic & non-academic aspects of students. The findings of this study are expected to contribute both theoretically & practically to the development of more effective, relevant, & contextual evaluation models for PAI learning, aimed at improving the quality of education in the future.
