Strategi Evaluasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol Kabupaten Sukoharjo

Abstract
This study aims to identify the implementation of evaluation strategies in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol. The study is motivated by the need to understand the various evaluation methods employed by PAI teachers at the institution. Using a qualitative approach, the study focuses on understanding the evaluation strategy models used in the PAI learning process. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with several PAI teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol to gather information regarding the implementation of evaluation techniques. The findings reveal that the evaluation system at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol adopts two main approaches: test-based and non-test-based evaluations. The test-based evaluation techniques are conducted through written and oral exams, referring to the PAI textbook used at the school. Meanwhile, non-test evaluation is focused on assessing students' religious practices and the development of portfolios containing documentation of students' learning outcomes. Thus, this study reveals that the evaluation of PAI learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Grogol has a comprehensive approach that combines various assessment techniques to provide a more complete picture of students' learning achievements in the field of Islamic Religious Education.
