Proses Evaluasi Formatif pada Mata Pelajaran Tahsin dan Tajwid di Ponpes Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Firdaus Kartasura

Abstract
As we know, evaluation is an important component in education and serves as a benchmark for students' understanding of the material they have learned. The focus of this study is on formative evaluation, which aims to understand what people think, and the results of the study can then be used to improve the learning process that is slow or has ended. This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. It is hoped that by using a qualitative approach, researchers will be better able to understand, analyze, and conduct research more accurately. From the results of this study, Tahsin and Tajwid teachers at the Al-Firdaus Kartasura Islamic Boarding School use various formative and summative evaluation techniques, such as quizzes, reading tasmi', memuroja'ah letters, and tajwid laws. Of course, with the output from that, how students can make accurate judgments and make them more suitable for their studies. This study aims to better understand the process of formative evaluation techniques in the Tahsin and Tajwid subjects at the Al-Firdaus Kartasura Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School.
