Strategi Evaluasi untuk Meningkatkan Minat dan Motivasi Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract
This study discusses the role of evaluation strategies in enhancing students' motivation and interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Motivation is defined as a personal drive to complete a task, which directly affects an individual's satisfaction and ability to perform the task, ultimately leading to a change in the quality of their motivation. In the context of PAI learning, the primary goal is to teach skills, build character, and foster morality, enabling students to lead fulfilling lives as individuals and members of society. This study identifies various factors that influence student motivation, including relevant teaching methods and inadequate evaluation strategies. To explore the effectiveness of evaluation strategies in PAI learning, this research employs a qualitative approach. The study aims to analyze the application of evaluation strategies in enhancing students' motivation and interest in PAI learning. The findings are expected to provide insights into the importance of appropriate evaluation designs to stimulate student learning motivation, as well as offer recommendations for educators to improve the quality of PAI instruction.
