Abstract

Memorizing is an activity of embedding material in memory, so that later it can be recalled, according to the original material. Of course, in the process of memorizing there will be many obstacles and problems that a child will face so evaluation is needed. This evaluation is necessary so that in the memorization process one can find out how far a child's memorization has progressed, as well as being able to correct the readings that have been memorized. Based on field observations, many children already have gadgets but are not using them in the world of education. Most of them use it only as a medium of entertainment. So it is necessary to take absolute steps to overcome this. One of the activities that can be done to restore the function of gadgets that have a more positive impact as educational and interactive media tools is to use popular applications. "Be Hafizh" can be used as a learning medium to practice reading and memorizing the Koran effectively. In this research, a Al-Quran learning method based on the "Be Hafizh" application was developed which aims to make it easier for the 7th grade students of PPTQ Arrabbani Masaran to memorize the Al-Qur'an in a more pleasant atmosphere.
