Teknik Evaluasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 3 Sawit Kabupaten Boyolali

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the model of applying evaluation techniques in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the junior high school (SMP) level. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a narrative inquiry approach to deeply explore the evaluation processes and techniques implemented. Data were collected through interviews with PAI teachers and several students involved in the learning process. The findings indicate that the evaluation of learning at SMP 3 Sawit serves as a tool to measure students' understanding during the PAI learning process. The evaluation process involves several stages, namely setting evaluation goals, gathering data or information, and analyzing the data. The primary purpose of this evaluation is to assess the development of students' abilities in mastering the learning material and to measure the effectiveness of the teacher in delivering the content. This study makes a significant contribution in determining effective assessment techniques and can be used as a reference in developing a better evaluation model for PAI learning at the SMP level. The findings are expected to provide insights for the development of more optimal evaluation practices to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education teaching.
