Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the issues faced by the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) Soto Bogor Bapak Ahari in Galuh Mas Karawang regarding decision-making that affects the continuity of the business. This research is conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with an explanatory survey method, and data is collected through direct interviews with the business owner. The findings show that there is no clear division of labor in workforce management, leading to inconsistent workloads. Real-time cash flow monitoring becomes problematic due to the weekly capital recording system. Price fluctuations and quality issues from conventional market suppliers present challenges in managing raw materials. Additionally, the marketing strategy has not utilized digital technology, and the absence of a promotional system limits market reach and competitiveness. To improve productivity and competitiveness, this study recommends implementing a competency-based division of tasks, using digital technology for daily financial report recording, establishing long-term partnerships with raw material suppliers, and developing a digital-based marketing strategy.
