Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the decision-making process faced by the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME) Padang Ranah Minang Restaurant in Rengasdengklok, as well as to identify the obstacles in managing labor, capital, procurement of raw materials, and marketing. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through direct observation and structured interviews with the restaurant's owner and employees. The research findings indicate that the main obstacles faced by Padang Ranah Minang Restaurant include limited human resources, which result in high workloads; capital issues that limit expansion; difficulties in procuring raw materials that are sometimes delayed or have increased prices; and challenges in implementing effective marketing strategies to reach more customers. Based on these findings, the study provides recommendations on how to improve decision-making effectiveness to address these obstacles, which is expected to help Padang Ranah Minang Restaurant attract more customers and achieve better development. This research provides a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs.
