Abstract

This study aims to analyze network technology learning through simulation of switch and router usage using the Cisco Packet Tracer application. The research employs an experimental method involving students or training participants as research subjects. Data is collected through observation of participants' interactions with the network simulation and through assessment of the learning outcomes obtained from the training. The study analyzes the effectiveness of using Cisco Packet Tracer in enhancing understanding of network concepts, configuration skills, and network problem-solving abilities. Through this approach, researchers can directly identify the impact of using this simulation tool on participants' competence and understanding of the network topics being studied. By conducting in-depth analysis of the collected data, researchers can provide valuable insights into the extent to which the simulation tool is effective in supporting the network learning process for participants. This helps evaluate the success of training implementation and provides insights for further improvement and development in the future.
