Pendekatan Terapi Seni Kaligrafi Terhadap Pasien Halusinasi

Abstract
Hallucinations become one of the positive symptoms that arise in schizophrenia patients. Auditory hallucination is a phenomenon found in patients with schizophrenia. Voices in auditory hallucinations can be whispers or unreal sounds, insults, threats, and commands. If not handled properly, it will negatively affect a person’s life and can lead to risk factors for violent behavior, social isolation, low self-esteem, and deficits in self-care. This case study aims to provide comprehensive nursing care with the implementation of general therapy and art therapy through calligraphy at the Aceh Psychiatric Hospital. The method used is a case study with the provision of generalist therapy and calligraphy art therapy for seven days of assistance to one patient with auditory hallucinations who was treated in the Tanjung Room of Aceh Psychiatric Hospital. The results of this case study showed a decrease in the intentity of auditory after generalist therapy and calligraphy art therapy. The patient also felt calmer, more focused and concentrated, had good eye contact, and did not appear to talk to oneself. The conclusion of this case study is that generalist therapy and calligraphy art therapy can reduce the signs and symptoms of hallucinations. It is hoped that Aceh Psychiatric Hospital nurses can provide nursing care with modified generalist therapy and calligraphy art therapy in hallucination patients so as to optimize the recovery process in patients.
