Pendidikan Karakter di Era Global: Refleksi Terhadap Surah Luqman Ayat 12–19

Abstract

Globalization brings serious challenges to the formation of the character of the younger generation, in the midst of the rapid flow of information and modern lifestyles that tend to ignore moral and spiritual values. This study aims to analyze the values of character education in Surah Luqman verses 12–19 and reflect on its relevance in Islamic education today. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing five relevant scientific articles from 2020–2025. The results of the study show that Surah Luqman verses 12–19 contain comprehensive educational values, including aqidah education, worship, morals, and social care. These values reflect an integral approach in forming a Muslim character that is religious, noble, and able to interact socially ethically. This study confirms that the Qur'anic values from Surah Luqman are very relevant to be used as a basis for strengthening character education in the midst of complex globalization challenges. This study is expected to contribute to the development of an applicable and contextual Islamic education curriculum.
