Pengaruh Pengetahuan Perbankan Syariah Terhadap Preferensi Mahasiswa dalam Memilih Produk di Bank Syariah

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic banking knowledge on students' preferences in choosing products from banks. The method employed was quantitative with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of 40 students from various faculties at Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University of Banten, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that knowledge of Islamic banking has a positive and significant impact on students' preferences for choosing Islamic bank products. The higher the students' knowledge level of Islamic banking, the greater their tendency to choose Islamic bank products as their banking preference. The implications of these findings are crucial in the context of education and socialization among students. There is a need for more intensive efforts to provide comprehensive education and socialization regarding the principles and benefits of Islamic banking. Through this approach, it is expected that students can gain a better understanding of the advantages and privileges of Islamic bank products, ultimately increasing their interest in using Islamic banking services in their daily financial activities.
