Abstract

The aim of this research is to comprehensively understand the phenomenon related to how work motivation can influence the performance of employees at Puskesmas Pejuang. The research employs a scientific approach as its research methodology. Data for this research are derived from primary sources collected through a questionnaire. This research falls under the category of sample research, where the subjects are 30 staff members out of a total of 50 working at Puskesmas Pejuang. Simple linear regression analysis is used as the analytical tool to analyze the collected data. The research findings indicate that work motivation has a positive impact on the performance of Puskesmas Pejuang staff. Quantitatively, work motivation affects performance by 48% based on the coefficient of determination, while other variables not examined in this research affect 52% of the total. The understanding that work motivation plays a crucial role in influencing the performance of staff at Puskesmas Pejuang suggests a significant relationship between work motivation and staff performance at Puskesmas Pejuang. High levels of work motivation among Puskesmas Pejuang staff have a positive impact on their performance. This means that when employees feel motivated and driven to work well, they tend to deliver better performance.
