Abstract

Performance assessment is a crucial aspect of human resource management that can have a significant impact on employees and organizational sustainability. This research aims to examine the influence of performance assessment on employee performance at PT Astra Honda Motor. The research method involves a survey using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. A total of 100 employees were randomly selected using simple random sampling as the research sample. The collected data were analyzed using the simple linear regression method. The research findings indicate that performance assessment has a significant impact on employee performance at PT Astra Honda Motor. Consequently, the company needs to pay careful attention to the performance assessment process as a strategy to enhance employee performance. Thus, this research contributes significantly to human resource management in the automotive company context. The practical implication underscores the necessity for the company to optimize the performance assessment process as an integral part of human resource management strategy to achieve organizational goals optimally.
