Pemanfaatan Database pada Perpustakaan Digital di Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract
The advancement of technology has transformed the role of libraries from manual models to automation and even to digital libraries. In this era of information, continuous access to library services has become increasingly crucial. This research aims to investigate the utilization of databases in digital libraries. The implementation of databases in digital libraries plays a pivotal role in organizing, storing, and disseminating information to users. Through an analytical approach, this study analyzes library strategies in harnessing databases to provide optimal information services to users. Factors such as data management, accessibility, and interaction between users and systems are the main focus of this research. The outcomes of this study offer profound insights into the utilization of databases to support the operations of digital libraries. The implications of this research are expected to provide guidelines for libraries to maximize the potential of database technology in offering sustained and relevant information services to users in the digital era. Thus, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of technology in transforming libraries into efficient and responsive entities that meet the demands of today's information society.
