Abstract

 


The purpose of this research is to identify the external and internal factors through the weaknesses and strengths of Buana Catering. The method used is descriptive method, which is then utilized to formulate a plan using the SWOT matrix. Buana Catering has several strengths and weaknesses related to the business development of Buana Catering, according to the findings of the internal environmental investigation for Buana Catering. Having a varied menu every day is the most crucial strength aspect. This is done to prevent competitors from easily imitating the competitive advantage and to maintain quality and hygiene. Promotion strategy is the main vulnerability factor that poses a challenge for Buana Catering. The findings of the external environmental research indicate that Buana Catering has several aspects related to business development opportunities and risks. The high demand for catering services is an emphasized opportunity aspect. This is in line with the current pragmatic cultural trend among urban communities. On the other hand, the large number of competitors in the catering service industry is the biggest threat to Buana Catering.
