Mengenal Agama Shinto dari Jepang

Abstract
The name Shinto itself is a form of cultural fusion between Japan and China, their religious name changed, namely from "Kami No Michi" which means "Way of the Gods" and after the Sino-Japanese cultural conflict this name was changed to Shinto, which means "Way of Heaven" . Shintoism, which developed in Japan, is the myth that the Japanese earth was the first creation of the gods, and that Jimmi Tenno (660 BC) is a direct descendant of the sun goddess Amaterasu Omi Kami. Married to Luna Tsukiyomi. This Journal Discusses Shinto religion in Japan. Shinto itself is a combination of two Chinese character, which are ( 神道 shen-tao ), shin (神) meaning gods or deities, and dao (道) meaning path. Shinto translates to the way of the gods. This research aims to introduce Shinto religion to the Indonesian society. In Indonesia, there are only six officially recognized religions: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Catholicism, and Protestantism. Therefore, this research focuses on studying and introducing the Shinto religion orginating from Japan. The method used is to conduct descriptives research on Shinto religion. Several points are extracted from the study to ensure accurate information about this religion
