Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) processed chocolate need a SWOT development strategy to develop. The drawbacks of limited capital and lack of innovation must be overcome. Opportunities for increased consumer interest and export markets can be utilized. The threat of intense competition and policy changes must be anticipated. MSMEs balance internal and external factors and pay attention to quality, innovation and effective marketing. SWOT analysis helps SMEs identify factors that affect business and plan the right strategy. In this study, data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, direct observation, FGD, and secondary data. MSME processed chocolate products have great potential, but face challenges such as poor financial management, not yet optimal human resource management, lack of innovation and marketing strategies that are not very different. SWOT analysis is used to identify internal and external factors. The development strategy can be in the form of improving product quality, innovation, improving financial management and HR management, and establishing partnerships with reliable suppliers. Utilization of information technology such as e-commerce and social media can also help expand the market. UMKM processed chocolate can increase competitiveness and win the competition in a competitive market.
